LordSystem Partners Liquid Group to Enable Trip. PASS Members QR Payments in Major Asian Countries.
Singapore, March 14th 2023 – Liquid Group Pte. Ltd. (“Liquid Group”), a leading cross-border digital payments provider, has established a partnership with LordSystem, the South Korean operator of Trip. PASS, passport-based mobile identity verification service platform, to launch a joint project for mobile cross-border payments.
As part of this partnership, LordSystem’s Trip. PASS members will be able to make QR payments using their mobile e-wallet at major tourist destinations in Singapore, Japan and ten other Asian countries affiliated with Liquid Group’s digital cross-border payment network, XNAP. This collaboration will provide domestic and foreign residents with a simple and inexpensive payment service that does not require currency exchange or overseas payment fees.
“We closely consulted with many overseas local partners to expand the scope of the business to the passport-based instant mobile tax refund service and QR payment that LordSystem holds a patent for, and the global QR payment with tax-free service at once. LordSystem aims to prepare various promotions with major affiliates in Asia, such as Japan and Singapore, to provide more benefits to Korean tourists using LordSystem’s Trip. PASS wallet through collaboration with major domestic travel agencies. This collaboration is expected to benefit both companies and their customers, as it opens new opportunities for seamless cross-border payments and increased convenience.
